Frank M. Gren
Frank Gren is a trusted advisor to the highest levels of federal and state governments, investment banks, and the trial bar regarding issues ranging from national security to esoteric financing.
Prior to founding the ViaFinance Group, he served as Managing Director of Galway Partners where he played pivotal roles in numerous complex transactions including the purchase, as principal, of over $1.7 billion in legal fee receivables. Mr. Gren began his career with Morgan Stanley in New York.
Mr. Gren has previously served in the US Navy as an aviator, Head of Nominations and Appointments for the Naval Academy, and Congress/Senate Liaison. Currently, he provides critical guidance to certain USG organizations regarding issues of national security and the Global War on Terror. To that end, he founded ViaGlobal Group, www.viaglobalgroup.com, a government solutions provider.
Mr. Gren is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has served on the board or committees of several corporate, professional and civic organizations ranging from the U.S. Naval Institute to the Harvard Fogg Museum. John C. Fernando
Prior to joining ViaFinance Group, LLC, Mr. Fernando worked for Lehman Brothers in New York as a Senior Vice President in the asset-backed securities (ABS) department. Mr. Fernando was responsible for a group which structured and placed new and complex structured finance products, including securitizations of corporate loans, legal fees, structured settlements, commercial aircraft, cell towers, FCC licenses and intellectual property rights as well as utility rate reduction bonds. From 1993 to 1997 Mr. Fernando was an associate with the NY law firm Brown & Wood where he provided clients tax advice on structured finance transactions ranging from mortgage and asset backed securities to derivative transactions. Mr. Fernando received a B.S. in physics from Virginia Tech, a JD from William & Mary and a Masters of Laws in Taxation from New York University. Mr. Fernando is a member of the New York and Washington D.C. Bar. Kyle Murphy
Prior to joining ViaFinance Group, LLC, Mr. Murphy worked for Cambridge Associates in the Control Marketable Department. He was responsible for providing information and advice on investment issues to endowed nonprofit institutions and private clients. Mr. Murphy received a B.S. in both International Business and Management Leadership from Georgetown University.
